Richard is CarePros’ Community Engagement Manager. He joined the CarePros team in the Summer of 2019 with a strong desire to support Albertans with complex needs. Over the past 9 months, Richard had made strong connections with various non-for-profit organizations such as Autism Speak Canada, and Autism Edmonton. Richard is a champion at building strong relationships with everybody he meets. Richard is embodying CarePros’ core values by always aiming to make the world a better place, and volunteering CarePros’ team to support Albertans with complex needs. Richard also visits each CarePros’ individuals on their birthday, to hopefully bring them a smile and a small gift. Richard loves to engage the Individuals we serve and is often organizing events for the families we serve and our caregivers. Prior to working for CarePros, Richard was with the Go Auto Group/Prestige Auto Group, where he held various sales, customer service training, and business development roles across several different dealerships over the past 10 years. Richard had also organized events like weekly Saturday BBQs within the dealerships to show appreciation for clients and guests and to get to know more about their families and friends as well. Before that, Richard had spent 20 years as a Corporate Sales Manager with NEWAGE Computer Inc., an Edmonton-based hardware and software sales and network services company. Throughout his professional career, Richard has attended many product sales and customer service training sessions and seminars across a diverse range of industries. He is also heavily involved in his church community, often volunteering for different events, teaching Sunday School, and acting as a councilor for youth and students. In his spare time, Richard enjoys spending quality time with his wife, volunteering for local not-for-profits and charities, travelling, and playing golf.
