Senior Program Supervisor

Pronouns: He/Him

Erik is new to the Province of Alberta after moving from British Columbia in December 2022 with his partner and puppy. Erik has worked in the Social Services field for the last five years after being in the retail/hospitality field for ten years. Erik's education has been in health sciences both in the Province of Ontario and the Province of British Columbia. Erik has an extensive volunteer background with non-profits and children's hospitals. Erik has a passion for politics and loves to spend time travelling with his partner. After spending time during the summer of 2022 in Edmonton and exploring opportunities in the Children and Youth Services with Edmonton, Erik chose to apply for a position at CarePros. Erik felt that CarePros best represented the work he wanted to achieve and Erik's vision for his professional development. CarePros values and mission statement were something Erik felt he could get behind and support. CarePros has a proven track record in providing care to children/youth and is a newer agency with growth in their future, all reasons why Erik wanted to be part of the team. Erik's favourite Core Value is We Are One. For Erik, this value represents how people all working together, no matter their role, come together to build a "Best in Class" support system for the children/youth in our care. It also provides a support network between teams and each other through challenges where you can be free to ask for help or support. Erik loves to be able to support people in achieving goals and develop throughout life. Erik's life has been dedicated to supporting others through different streams, and in his role as the Senior Program Supervisor, Erik feels that he can challenge himself to be better and others to achieve success. Erik likes to be able to interact with all the children/youth in the PCC-Service Delivery aspect of the business and build positive relationships to support them.
