Cindy is a Program Supervisor at CarePros. She started as a Care Professional in our child and youth facility before being promoted to her current role. Recognized for her knowledge and experience in child care, Cindy was promoted to our Crisis Intervention Worker in February 2021. Cindy is responsible for responding and assisting the CarePros team and clients in a crisis related to children’s behavioural or mental health concerns. She still finds time to provide respite care for our children and youths in our facilities.  Cindy is passionate about sharing her numerous years of experience and training staff members. She also assists with interviewing potential new Care Professionals candidates to join our team. Prior to her time at CarePros, Cindy has garnered +25 years of child development and respite care experience. She started her storied career working with Crisis Nursery in Saskatoon for 7 years as a child and youth worker for at-risk youth. Cindy then moved to the Yukon in 1997 where she worked with youth suffering from addiction at the Gibbs Group Home. In 2001, Cindy provided respite care to an all-boys' group home for Calgary's Boys and Girls Club. Cindy has a background in early childhood development and received her degree from Saskatchewan Polytechnic (formerly the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology or SIAST) at the Kelsey Institute in 1990. During her spare time, Cindy enjoys scrapbooking, being with her four dogs, and cheering on the Oilers. Her favourite vacation spot is going up north to Whitehorse, Yukon.
