Valeria is the Family Services Coordinator at CarePros. Valeria is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and is responsible for the creation of all Care Plans and Individual Support Plans. She is the first point of contact for every new Individuals who is looking for care and is an excellent trainer and mentor for all new caregivers joining CarePros’ team.

Valeria recently graduated in the summer of 2019 from NorQuest College in Edmonton. She had been working with children and youth with complex needs for a decade and is passionate about providing the best care.

Valeria was born in Israel and moved to Edmonton, Canada in 2006 where she has completed her education. Valeria is a fluent speaker, writer and reader in three languages: English, Russian, and Ukrainian. Valeria’s undergrad was focusing on Psychology and Sociology (MacEwan University) which led her to choose to become an LPN. During the Practical Nursing program, she attended the following practicums: Long-Term Care at Edmonton General Hospital, Acute Medicine and Surgery at Sturgeon Community Hospital, and Neurology unit at the University of Alberta Hospital as preceptorship training. Valeria also obtained a casual position of Licensed Practical Nurse, Medicine Float department at the University of Alberta Hospital.

Other accomplishments that Valeria achieved are Trauma-Informed Care Certificate, Joint Work Site Health and Safety Committee/Health and Safety Representative Certificate, Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma, Canadian Licensed Practical Nurse Association, and First Aid and CPR – Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professionals.

In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, drawing, dancing, and numerous other sports. In the summertime, you may find her exploring new cafes, and in the winter, she can be found on the slopes.
