Manager of Intake, Service Delivery and Professional Services
Evan is the Manager of Intake, Service Delivery, and Professional Services at CarePros. In this role, Evan has been responsible for supporting clients and families through their CarePros journey from intake all the way to discharge and everything in between. Over the past 18 months, Evan has been coordinating with administration and executives within various programs under the Ministry of Children’s Services & the Ministry of Community and Social
Services, including but not limited to Child and Family Services, Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD), and Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD). In addition, Evan has driven growth initiatives with publicly funded sources (i.e. FSCD, PDD, AHS, CFS), insurance and disability sources (i.e. WCB, private insurance companies), and private pay.
Prior to his efforts at CarePros, Evan spent 5 years as a Social Worker with Alberta Health Services (AHS) in addition to his private practice as a Designated Capacity Assessor (DCA). During his time within AHS, Evan’s practice was geared towards mental health care, which spanned across many diverse populations including acute psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and rehabilitative medicine. In 2014, Evan received the DCA designation after being selected by the Province of Alberta for specialized training. He has worked closely with the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee to perform detailed assessments for those in need.
Evan received a golf scholarship from Alma College where he completed his Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology in Michigan, USA and a Bachelor of Social Work degree (with distinction) from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC.
In his spare time, Evan takes great interest in fitness and personal wellness, eating good food, and spending quality time with his family, friends, and significant other.
